Versioning on the Business System uses Semantic Versioning. In short, the version is broken up into 3 parts, Major.Minor.Patch:

• Major: A major change which will break functionality for apps referencing the Business System API*
• Minor: This will increment with every non-breaking change and feature.
• Patch: This will increment with every bug fix.

When referencing issues on the Business System, please provide a version number. Using the "Report an error" feature available in the bottom left hand corner generates an email template with the version number included for reporting the error.

* At this point in time, the Business System does not have an API.
